let it never be said that girls don't have problems with masculine beauty
All I want
is escape
I'm captive
in your presence
held prisoner
on the other side of the room
You enter
and I'm trappd
I think
of the exquisite
curls at the nape of your neck
Your bright eyes
I imagine
the thoughts behind
The quizzical smile
that plays
in the corners of your mouth
I know
these curls
I'll never touch
the thoughts
you'll never share
The smile
never for me
I've given up.
All I want
is release.
