The Big Bang The idea was always unlikely apart from being unsightly and had no chance of winning in being the very beginning that all was once just a dot that exploded in this very spot so everything came from nothing - methinks they were merely bluffing. Being Late Being late has its compensations to add to all our reservations. Despite our famed notoriety it’s well short of impropriety. And though our frames are insubstantial our gains are surely nonfinancial. For now from cares we’re all released advantage lies in being deceased. Empty Out west the land goes on forever in open plains, a vast savanna, no hindrance there to sight or dreams and freedom forms eternal themes. Out there the spirit roams untied, no hindrance to the view applied and emptiness is full of meaning, the soul replete with endless cleaning. Evidence of bedtime’s last cocoa ritual of long ago a cup and saucer braves the flow of air and movement a stalwart figure on the lonely height of spotlight frozen suspended time now prepares the waiting fate for action. Understanding Understanding knows of what you speak lives in the places that we seek thrives on learning all that’s real pays the bill while others steal Stoops to take the path most humble treads with grace and doesn’t stumble smiles so sadly at man’s errors blunts the teeth of the worst of terrors.
