Ruminations and Revelations

I ruminate on romance,
on red roses and ruby things;
reveries of rendezvous,
of raptures and wedding rings.

I ruminate on the rhapsody
of ritual and reunion,
the reassurance of rejuvenation,
through raucous, robust arousal.

And in my ruminations
of romance and rhapsody,
my spirit is opened to revelations
and I relish these reveries.
