Take UP Your Cross Prompt: Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. Am I paying too much attention to what people think of me Instead of what God thinks? What do you think God thinks of you? Does it matter what other people think? Answer: As far as I know I am not. I know God sees me as his child. I am fully covered in the blood of Christ. God sees the blood of Jesus and then he sees me. I hope I will hear that he is well pleased with me when I die and go to meet him. To a point, it matters what others think. We are supposed to be witnesses for Christ. If we do wrong or don't have a good reputation, it can hurt our witness and ability to see other people saved. We are to let others see our good works so they can glorify the Father in Heaven. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Most summer vacations in my teenage years were spent at Falls Creek Baptist Church Camp. They had 5 weeks of it. I would go one week with one church and go another week with another church. I loved it because it got me away from home for a while. One year, I went 3 weeks in a row. I would also go and spend a week with my Dad's brother and his wife for a week. My aunt would send me back home with new clothes for the next school year.
