As much as I dislike Christmas, it is sort of expected that we do Christmas columns. And I need the money. Songs about jungles and forests (a reader request). Again, all songs done by the original artists. And no Mariah Carey because I value my eardrums.So I hope that you find some music there to listen to! Oh, and for what it's worth, I do not and will not support Spotify. They steal from artists. They only want corporate music. Steal? Yes - they pay the worst of any streaming platform. If a song has less than a certain number of streams, they don't even pay that small amount. They allow AI to scrape them to make those computer-made "songs" without recompense. And smaller bands and artists, or older music, have to go through so many hoops to get paid when their music can be uploaded by anyone if they are not attached to a current music industry company. Spotify hate music. I will not take food from the mouth of a musician who gives me such joy. |
