| B. The Garden Of Live Flowers 2. Mind Your Manners-The Red Queen insists in Alice having manners around her. What sort of rules/common courtesies would you like to see more of? Driving manners. A semi pulled in from of my husband and I. He honked the horn. I don't think the semi driver was paying attention. A man and his trailer about ran into us. Drivers pulling in front of you. Don't they look first? They can get in a wreck and get hurt, too. Like seriously? You buy a pair of shoes at Macys and the cashier's sign says closed. They don't tell you where to go. You go to the Purse section and ask can you wait on me? Luckily, they say yes. You buy expensive cologne and face cream at Estee Laudee and they won't give you free cologne samples? They can afford to give you a couple. Doctor's Office not calling you back after you call them. The Nursing Assistant says she will have the Nurse call you back and she doesn't. Sometimes, it takes 3 days to get a call back. This is rude. You are there to take care of your patients. Kiya knows what I mean. Sad really. We have gone To Bob Evans twice the past two months. Other people come in after us and three other tables got waited in before us. The waitress said they lost our order in the computer. What ever to paper orders, hand them to the Cook and get your food in the order that it was placed? The last time they had one server and a twenty minute wait. So, we went to Wendys. I love Bob Evans food but that the way they do things anymore. People cut in line at the Pharmacy at the Check Out Lanes. I always ask a person if they are waiting in line if they are looking at something because I want to be polite. Check Out Lines at Walmart and Mejer. Put your groceries on the counter and use the little pole provided to let the cashier knows whose purchases end and the next one begins. Kids touching your food as you unload it unto the check out counter. Like really? I was at Therapy waiting to see my Therapist for my knee. This woman takes her laptop and sits next to me and bumps my walker. Luckily, I was sitting down or I would have fallen. She is on the laptop, talking on the phone and distracting everyone and the staff behind the desk. They should have told her to come back tomorrow when you aren't busy. She didn't apologize for bumping my walker. What if I would have hit her sore arm and broke her Laptop? These are manners that I observed this winter. I wonder what summer will be like. 478 Words  |
