Saint Patrick's Day
Saint Patrick's Day
Acrostic
*Shamrock* *Shamrock* *Shamrock*

Serpents banished by a saint so bold
Ancient legends of heroes, stories to behold
Irish eyes smiling, with warmth so bright
Nation adorned in shades of green light
Three-leafed clover, a symbol of might

Pipes and fiddles with melodies grand
A chorus of voices fills the Emerald land
Thick woolen sweaters to keep out the chill
Rivers of laughter, spirits nothing can still
Imaginations run wild, with leprechauns at play
Copper pots shimmering, where treasures may lay
Knotted shamrocks, good fortune they bring
Stories echoing with the voices that sing

Drumbeats resounding, hearts pounding in time
As dancers take flight, a spectacle sublime
Yearly traditions forever we'll hold,
Saint Patrick's Day stories, in green and in gold
