Homer

Homer lived in a house-broken house in Hungry Horse, Texas. It was filled with holes, cracks, and handleless doors. He vowed to his two spotted hyenas to fix his house-broken house. Homer called the Acme Corporation. Acme sent Homer a hacking knife, hack saw, hand saw, hand fan, hand steel, hand truck, and a hatchet-ax and hinted that his fix-it job would be as simple as driving his new hand truck. They forgot a heap of nails.

Homer had a honeygirl, Hannah, from Hungry Horse. She was big, soft, with lips as sweet as honey. Together with the hacking knife, hack saw, hand fan, hand steel, hand truck, and hatchet-ax, they built a home for their bees. It was quite a site when it was time to harvest their honey. They both had bulging lips and humpy arms from their bees hovering in flight.

Homer and his honeygirl loved country music. Every Friday night, they would dress up in their hillbilly best. Homer wore his bid-overalls with patched holes on his hiney, no shirt, straw hat, and wild scarf knotted around his neck. Reving up the ole hand truck, they would head out to the Hungry Horse Hillbilly Water Trough with the hacking knife, hacking saw, hand saw, hand fan, hand steel and hatchet-ax trailing behind them. Homer would uncover
his guitar and play the country's heartbreaking tunes. They would sing, dance, and drink until it was time to harvest the eggs and the honey. Homer never looked forward to those chores.

Homer and Hannah raised hens and roosters. Together, they dreamed of the hoard of money they would make from their eggs, but gathering eggs was a chore. Homer was attacked by the hens daily, and it wasn't as easy as harvesting the honey. He thought about signing up for bullfighting, but all he had were heifers. He grinned a sweet honey grin when he dreamed about bullfighting. The thought of buying some bulls with the egg money disappeared when he thought of his house-broken house in Hungry Horse: his house, the one filled with holes, cracks, and handless doors. That would never do for Hannah.

Homer decided to hire his friend, Hector, to repair his house-broken house. He would loan him his hacking knife, hacksaw, hand saw, hand fan, hand steel, hand truck, and hatchet-ax to fix the holes, cracks, and handless doors. Homer grinned a huge honey-sweet grin. He would snatch Hannah away to Hungry Horse and get married.

Hannah and Homer live happily together, harvesting honey and suing Acme Corp. over the failed hacking knife, hacksaw, hand fan, hand steel, hand truck, and hatchet-ax. The house and the chicken house both fell to the ground, and the chickens got away. The bees buzzed around, waiting to see what would happen next.
