Fantasy and Fairy Tales Prompt 48
Prompt: The Princess who slayed the dragon is there waiting for you.

I am a Princess and I am third in line for the throne. My cousin is an evil Princess Eldora. She is in next in line for the throne. I don't like this idea. She wants to kill all the dragons. She will be mean to her subjects. I am friends with Maltrese, The magician. He gave me a magic wand and taught me how to brew potions. I will need it to defend myself against my cousin.

I have carried a sword at times but the wand is more powerful then a sword. I have a sixth sense. I know where my cousin is. She is at the cave with the dragon Ogano. I am ready for her. I got on my horse and rode up to the cave. I feel she is there. The ride to the cave is quiet. I am at the cave now. I slowly walk into the cave. I see Eldora. She killed Ogano. I am angry. She laughs and runs at me with her sword. She is going to kill me.

I raise my wand. "Evil cousin, your days of terrorizing people and dragons are done. This is your last day on earth."

I point the wand at Eldora. Sparks fly from the wand. She screams and sparks descend on her. She is burning and screaming. What an awful smell. She dies.I have no remorse. I look at Ogano. He is breathing. I take the potion and pour it in his mouth. The beautiful green dragon opens his eyes and yawns. He growls. I go hug him. He is alive.

No one knows what happens to Eldora but I do. I smile. Eldora's sister is next in line for the throne. Lenore is sweet and we are close. She will be a good Queen. She loves dragons. No one misses Eldora. It was either me or her. We are better off without her. Life is good.
