Heroes and Villians
"Today we are going to talk about the two main characters in your story. Do you want to guess who they are Felicia?" Mrs. Cattail introduced the class. Felicia groaned as he just walked in through the door, but had read the chapter the night before.

"Hero and the villain." Felicia sat down at a desk in the back.

"You are correct. An A for you for knowing the answer. The hero is the main protagonist of the story. And the villain is the main antagonist of the story. For your first story you will incorporate both, a hero and a villain. The story needs to be written in the point of view of the hero. The hero is with good qualities with some bad qualities as a weakness. The hero needs a weakness. The villain is with bad qualities with some good qualities as a weakness. The villain needs a weakness. To make a story interesting there needs to be a conflict. It must have a beginning, middle, and end. I want your first story to focus on the hero and the villain. It can be fiction. Good luck. The bell will ring any second now." Mrs. Cattail wrote on the board and presented with the power point as she spoke. Then the bell rang. "Felicia come here."

"Yes. Sorry I was late. It won't happen again. I see I made it in time for the lecture of the first chapter. Was there anything I missed?" Felicia looked down on the ground.

"I want you to take this quiz real quick. It covers English and Grammar and some things we haven't covered yet in this class but will cover. It's just to see where you stand. Since school is over then you could do this real quick before getting on the bus to go home. Is there something bugging you? I see you have a black eye."

"It's just that Lake and Blake stopped me on my way over to class and I blacked out from their punches. I just recovered from their attack."

"I'm so sorry. Maybe you should go to the hospital?"

"No, I don't want to go to the hospital. I'll be okay."

"If you are sure about that. Bullying isn't tolerated."

Felicia did the quiz and then thanked her for her time, promising to be on time next time. When Felicia got out she made her way over to the bus, which was still waiting for her. Glad the bus waited, she got onto the bus and walked through until she reached the back seat. Lake and Blake were there on the other side. Sighing, she sat down. Hopefully nothing would happen. She couldn't wait to get home. Bullying wasn't tolerated yet it happened to her frequently. Still, they were laughing. Up to something, she warned herself.

"What do you want this time?" Felicia asked them.

"Your backpack," Lake replied.

"No."

"Yes."

This couldn't be happening. All of her homework was important to keep so she could do it when she got home. They laughed harder. This time pointing to her face. She looked away. They were making fun of how she looked. Soon it was their turn to get off the bus. Good. She didn't have to deal with them for the rest of the way. Still, she had no friends. She felt as blue as she looked blue. Just then, a girl her size came over. She smiled. The girl smiled back. The girl was in her classes as well, so homework was safe and sound. She had finally made a new friend. The bus stopped and it was her turn to get off. She waved goodbye and made her way out of the bus and into the house.
