| Prompt:A male friend wrote in my annual that if a book was written about him, I would be the best sentence. This guy I knew in Arkansas. He was a friend and he had a girlfriend and they were both nice. His girlfriend had a Birthday and she had a Birthday party by the pond. I was invited with some other people. It rained and I fed the ducks. I bought my friend a blue beaded purse. She liked it. We didn't stay long and we went to a teenage hang out. We ate cheese burgers. It was nice. One other time we went to the movies. I would see them at school. We got to see each other a few more times. Dad had to go to Vietnam again. Mom and I were moving back to Indiana. My friends signed my annual. That line about me in being his book {if it was written about his life}as the best sentence touched me. You would think he would say his girlfriend would the best sentence in his book. I always think of these two friends as I go through life.  |
