This is to hold all my thoughts and entries for blogging groups. |
  I always will remember the Christmas parties my parents threw each year at our house. I have always love Christmas. It is my favorite time of year. My mother would spend all day making plates of appetizers and finger food for their party guests. I want to start my own Christmas parties. We don't have a lot of people around at Christmas time, but it is something I have always wanted to do. We always have our Christmas shopping done by the middle of October, including treats and the things for our Christmas and New Years Dinner. I would love to entertain this year, if, for no other reason, than to show off the new things I will have from Pampered Chef for my kitchen. For Blogging Circle Of Friends We don't usually decorate for Halloween in our house. We have found it to be a waste because we have no trick or treaters on our land. We always decorate for Christmas. It usually includes having a small tree, a Happy Holidays banner and some wall ornaments. Our living room is too small for a large tree. I don't usually start decorating for Christmas until the first week of December. Then, everything is up until January 2. I love leaving my Christmas decorations up for the month.  When I was growing up the only thing we really made time for was Sunday Mass. We would just all be up to be to Church for 10:00AM. I don't attend Mass anymore, so time management for my religious observance is not really relevant now. I do say a prayer every morning welcoming God into my day, and that happens as soon as I wake up.   |
