The Last Cat In The Rain
The cats's master had died,
The beautiful black cat was hungry.
His master died three days ago.
It was time to leave the house.

He squeezed through a hole in the screen.
He had to search for food. His stomach growled.
It was raining. He didn't like this.
A big, brown dog chased him.

The last cat in the rain ran through yards in town.
There was no where to hide.
Finally, the cat found a safe, dry spot
An abandoned dog house so fitting.

No dog around. The poor dog had passed on.
It was still raining. Now, a down pour.
The cat crawled into the dog house.
The woman looked out the window.

She saw a beautiful, black cat go inside the dog house.
She had lost her pet dog a month ago.
A cat? The cat needed her help.
The woman went outside in the rain.

She approached the dog house slowly.
The cat looked at her and
she hold out her arms talking to him in a gentle voice.
The cat slowly walked out of the dog house. He needed a friend and she cuddled him.

The woman took him in the house.
She fed him tuna and gave him fresh water
She fixed him up a nice bed in her dog's bed.
The cat laid with her on the couch and slept.

The next day, the woman bought car food and supplies at the store.
The woman and cat had found each other.
Their hearts were mended and they were happy.
The last cat in the rain. Another animal's life saved.

A neat Poser of me and my cats in my cozy room by best friend Angel.
