Gratitude Poem
Gratitude Poem
In the USA, on Thanksgiving day,
Americans all gather together.
Traditional Turkey as the entrée,
People gather despite the raw weather.
Some people even pray.
In many places, it can be raw weather.
Younger children may gather to play.
Some people sit down and eat gourmet.
In November, often cold weather.
For some reason, Thanksgiving's Thursday.
In Florida, often fair weather.
Great feast on display.
Some people even pray.
All alone, yet somehow still together.
Some families have a feast all the way.
(i thought this form would be "fitting" based on what week it is in the usa. . .)
