Mars Beckons

For his 85 birthday
Sam Adams decided
To go to Mars,
A new fast clipper ship
Made the trip into two weeks,
Visiting the new Martian
underground cities
and Mt Olympus on Mars.

FUN FACTS


The tallest known mountain in our solar system, Olympus Mons, is found on Mars. Its base is the size of Arizona, and the highest point is over 16 miles tall. (Earth’s Everest is 5.5 miles above sea level.)
