| I cannot believe that Christmas is almost here and the year almost past! I got to thinking about the New Year and things I wanted to do in January. Closet cleaning and purging to name a few. How about you? I also thought about all the stuff on my computer, especially pictures. So I was reviewing and came across some pics I took when I was visiting museums in Los Angeles. I love art, all kinds, so museums are a big deal for me. At the Norton Simon Museum in Los Angeles, California, I took a snap shot of The Thinker. The artist is Auguste Rodin. When you see the Thinker, it is hard not to wonder what he was thinking or what Rodin wanted us to think he was thinking. Was it about mankind, or the world? Originally named The Poet according to Wikipedia. It was part of a large commission and it probably makes more since when viewed with its original works called The Gates of Hell. I think he was saying, "Get me out of here". In any case it fascinates me and I thought it would be fun the share it in a trinket. So enjoy, my gift to you, Merry Christmas! Seabreeze   |
