Blog Prompt: How does prayer benefit me in my life?

I can't imagine my life without it. It keeps me in contact with God. I don't want to live my life without God. It is a comfort to be able to call upon him any time and to spend time communicating with him. Without prayer, there is no communication with God. And it is a 2-way communication too.


Prayer prompt: Pray for the world powers, that they would seek God for wisdom in their leadership.

Dear God,
I pray for the powers that rule this world. I pray they would seek you for wisdom and that they will make good decisions.
In Jesus' name,
Amen

I guess my favorite New Year celebration has always been those with my friends and family. I don't really have a specific one that stands out in my mind at the moment.

Hmmm! It could be better and could be worse. I have felt kind of down going into this year and that has certainly had an impact on things. I guess in a way, I am still trying to get myself going.
