Acck! I cannot believe that we are starting the second half of the year in four days...July 1st will be bittersweet, as that is the birthday of my late sister, Kathy. Cannot believe she's been gone 4 years.  .Mom and Dad have pretty much recovered from their January ordeals: Him, a broken hip, and Her, an aortic valve replacement. That's about enough of those kind of shenanigans, believe me! Just had my 59th birthday...not sure how I feel about it. I used to think that my grandma was OLD when she was 60. I don't feel that way anymore...although sometimes my body thinks it is old. LOL. Gonna try a writing challenge for July. It is BCoF Virtual 50 state tour. It will give me something to look forward to, and practice writing again. I'm out of practice for sure. I mean, I've done a LOT of Word Searches, due to a crazy woman's whistling  , and I've enjoyed them, but now I want to do some writing, and maybe even some soul searching. Who knows? maybe I'll have to start another book/blog this year. I won't be even close to what Amethyst Angel has done for the month of June, or probably this coming July, but ya gotta start somewhere, yes?So a fond farewell to the first half of 2025. My God give us peace within ourselves, if not in the world.     |
