In India, cricket is treated as our national game. I wanted to be a cricketer. Women's cricket is very popular here. I began to take training when I was just five years old.
When I was selected for the under-13 national training camp. I was just 12 years old.
My father called me and told me to select one as a career either sports or education, and choose one.
I answered him,"both".
He told me that you wouldn't get success.
I chose an educational career.
I get success in it.
But, when I see cricket on television or the internet, I feel a lot of pain. I love cricket even now. So it is my biggest regret not to be a cricketer. Prompt▼
