The Pause
The Pause
—by Tee M.
For this time—she didn’t rush.
No race, no clock, no call to hush.
Just golden light on ocean wide,
And breath that matched the turning tide.
She sipped the sun from her quiet cup,
Let silence fill and lift her up.
The wind, a song through loosened hair,
A whispered hymn, a healing prayer.!
No deadlines pressed, no noise to flee—
Just soul and sea in sweet decree.
She closed her eyes, the moment near,
And let the earth sing soft and clear.
She remembered who she used to be,
She heard the world in serenity.
She belonged to now, to sky, to shore—
And felt her spirit rise once more.
