Growing Up Near the Pacific Ocean


I grew up near the ocean’s tide,
Where golden sunsets would collide.
The bridge stood proud in crimson light,
Its towers glowing through the night.

The Bay would whisper soft and low,
As evening winds began to blow.
Each day would end with skies of flame,
And dreams returned when morning came.
