PAST IS PAST
PAST IS PAST

[Dwell In the present, not the past]

Past is past, consigned to dark,
Let’s bask in the new sun.
Why live in the days gone by?
Towards the future, run.

Present is truly pregnant;
It’s full of future hope.
Past is dead, it does not have,
Of blossoming, a scope.

We, of course, must not forget
The glory of the past.
Yet in the sea of the times,
Forward must be our mast.

We must dig in the past to
Unravel mystery.
If we don’t, then we shall have
To relearn history.

All the teachings of the great,
To us, a message give:
“Learn from past, don’t dwell in it.
In present, you must live.”
