DOOR OF DEATH: a Kyrielle Sonnet-- award winner ** Image ID #1056937 Unavailable ** As time passes the young become the old And one day, from the drama, we are gone. Before all mysteries of life unfold, The door of death we are cruelly shown. To hell or heaven which way we shall go, To none of us this can ever be known. As icy winds in winter of life blow, The door of death we are cruelly shown. If we don’t know our fate then why lament? We came alone and we shall go alone. No one will save in the final moment. The door of death we are cruelly shown. As time passes the young become the old. The door of death we are cruelly shown.
