WHEN SNOWFLAKES DANCE
WHEN SNOWFLAKES DANCE
[About snowflakes, larks, rose buds and little girls.]

When snowflakes dance in the wind
How can they ever know
That their life is meant to be
Buried in heaps of snow?

When larks are floating in skies
How can they ever know
That they are closely watched by
Blood thirsty hawks in tow?

When the tender rose buds sprout
How can they ever know
That on thorns their petals will
One day be meant to flow?

When little girls turn maidens,
How can they ever know
That in the world they step
Foul winds of deceit blow?
