Wildcard Monday: Writing With Nothing To Do
It's Wildcard Monday! The January 13, 2014 prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUSOpen in new Window. is
What do you do when there is nothing to do?

I have never found a time when there is nothing to do; however, I have encountered several instances in the past and present when there were thing I didn't want to do, but I have never found moments, second, or even nanoseconds when there was nothing to do. If I ever do encounter such a time then I will write even if it's only about having nothing to do.

It's easy to find something to do,
if you just open your eyes
and look out the window
you will see the birds flying,
the bees buzzing,
and the grass growing,
if nature's creatures can find something to do
so can you.

If I don't have writing project to work on then I have housecleaning to do. If I have a moments rest between projects and chores, I can meditate or set and look out the window contemplating mother nature. If it ever does get to the point where I have time on my hand then I can volunteer at one of the senior centers or I can go to the gym. The problem isn't having nothing to do, the problem is having time to do everything I want and need to do.

If you can't find something to do
there's plenty of volunteer jobs for you.
