Day 11: Prompting the Prompt
Blog Prompt for February 11, 2015: Talk about the different types of prompts. Tell us how the prompt helps or hinders your blog entry writing. Which types of prompts are your favorite or least favorite to write on?

Prompts are only good for shifting out of writer’s block, or fun little dippsy doodles into strange yet exciting genres that you may not have given a pen to before.

The best prompts are those that are straight forward. Either start and end the story with certain words, or free floating broad ideas.

The worst prompts are picture prompts or putting five random words together.

You can thank me when Brother Joel abuses his power and uses the worst prompts for future prompts.
