"August 18, 2018"      "Prompt: Write about a special summer's evening.."I think every summer's evening is very special because they were all created by Jesus Christ. However some summer evenings are even more special than others. Last evening was pretty special to me as I was overwhelmed with feelings of excitement due to registering for classes with Marshall University. I transferred in so I only have 48 credits left until graduation and I'm taking 12 of those this semester. One will be an easy A for me because it is English 101. I was an English transfer student at my former school. The former school had accepted my English 101 credits from a school I had attended before, which was accredited by a different body. Marshall will not take the English credit so I have to take 101 even though I was an English major at the last school. So it will be an easy A. I had a nice dinner last night as my family and friends celebrated my registration with me and launched me on my new life as a college student. So it was a pleasant summer's evening. Prompt: "WDC's birthday is approaching, are you planning any special events, participating in or hosting any contests. Would you recommend any to other writers ?"I tried to hold an auction last year for WDC's birthday celebration and it went well. This year however I am a student so I may not have the time to do anything except possibly my blog and a few reviews.     |
