"The first Ṭaráz and the first effulgence which hath dawned from the horizon of the Mother Book is that man should know his own self and recognize that which leadeth unto loftiness or lowliness, glory or abasement, wealth or poverty...."

The Journey Within

The journey within, seeking knowledge of our own selves, could be the most important journey anyone will take. It is a journey that reveals both our strengths and weaknesses. It reveals both our physical and spiritual attributes, which allows us to develop these qualities.

In your writing, do you use real-life settings (as to place) or made-up settings? What are the positives or negatives of each choice?

Setting Descriptions

I use both. The real-life settings I use in fiction stories are houses I've lived in and places I've visited. When I use a fictional setting, I attempt to describe the image of the setting I see in my mind's eyes.
