| Prompt for the 3rd March Use the following words as inspiration for your entry: inquiry, curiosity, investigation, suspicion, and clandestine. (You need not use the words in your entry, but if you do, please highlight them in bold or a different color.) These are a great selection of words all leading to a world of secrecy. My favourite of these words in clandestine. The only time I would ever have had such a meeting would be when sneaking out of the house to meet my boyfriend. Mother didn’t approve of him so to avoid suspicion I would make up some story or other. If she did make an inquiry as to where I had been or where I was going, I would tell her some lie, which she probably didn’t believe for one minute. I’m not a very good liar! Sometimes though her curiosity would be peaked and she would mount an investigation. My mother missed her vocation, she should have been a sleuth.  |
