Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids. 5. Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler. In this passage, Solomon is telling us that we should never be co-signer on another's loans. If you co-sign and the signer defaults on the loan, it becomes your responsibility. Write about prayer in your Blog entry today. Prayer is something I don't do enough of. Prayer is man aligning his will with God's will. It is not a time to make requests of God because God already knows what we need. It is time to submit ourselves to doing God's will. I try to pray every night and usually fall asleep doing so.
