Dream a little dream of me

PROMPT January 15th

Write about dreaming. Do they ever mean anything, or are they all meaningless? Why are they sometimes scary, emotional, silly, or prophetic? Have you had a memorable dream recently?

I have dreams every night. Sometimes I know why I dreamt a dream. If I go to bed with something on my mind I’ll invariably incorporate it into a dream.
The one dream which I hate is the one where my body simply won’t move. I get this often. Maybe it’s that it’s REM sleep where the body is actually paralysed. I’ve dreamt I’ve been washed out to sea. I can see the shore but my arms simply won’t move.
I usually remember my dreams but rarely relate them to anyone. I find there’s nothing more boring than listening to someone’s dreams. 🥱
