The Lord Is My Shepherd

Prompt: The LORD is my Shepherd I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me besides the still waters. What need is the lord meeting in these verses?

I have always loved this passage. It is a favorite with me. The Lord watches over us and provides us water and gives us green pastures that mean he is making our life good and better. He provides for us and walks with us. The rest of the passage says though I walk through the valley of death , his staff comforts me. We do get comfort from the Lord. Pray to him, follow him and I remind myself he's got this. I always needs his guidance. I think of this passage when I feel down.
