Despite a Busy Saturday

Yesterday at work I only got fifteen single paragraphs for the fourth episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. For a weekday, fifteen would have been a very good day. But not as good for a weekend. It’s still a good day for this project, though. Especially, considering how busy it was at work yesterday.

It was very, very busy at work yesterday. one of the busiest that I have seen in a long time. If it’s not the busiest. In fact, it was about twice as busy as it usually is. Maybe even three times as busy. That’s how busy that it was at work yesterday.

Fifteen is all that I needed to finish Act One of this episode. I probably could have done the two Establishing Shots of Act Two for this project. Possibility even one more single paragraph. But I decided not to do that. with only about a half-hour of my shift left, I’m not even sure that I could have gotten the Establishing Shots done. I’m pretty sure that I could have gotten them done. But I doubt that I could have gotten another paragraph written.

Today, I’m going to be starting Act Two for this project. That’s another reason why I decided not to try to do any more writing yesterday. I don’t know how many single paragraphs written today. But I’m hoping that it will be another seventeen or more. That will equal fifteen scene paragraphs and two Establishing ones.

I should be able to get at least twelve of them written. It all depends on how busy it gets at work today. If work is anything like yesterday, or worse, I may be lucky if I get ten of them written. And that includes the two Establishing Shots. But I’m not going to count on that until it happens.
