I have no problem with Seuss's heirs deciding to not continue to publish 6 of his books. His other books have withstood the test of time but in time some of them will be left by the wayside as well.

I do have one issue with all my friends who are offended by this though. They are all White, by-the-way. A White person doesn't get to decide whether or not a depiction of an Asian or African is acceptable or not. Any more than a Man gets to decide for a Woman whether she is female or feminine ... or not. Nor does a Christian telling lies and mocking someone of another faith (a la DJT) get a free pass. As part of the Rainbow Community I am highly sensitive to hurtful and false stereotypes as we come in all colors.

This Cultural Warfare will continue as long as White-identity Hetero-normative Male-supremacist Christian-uber-alles believers and allies keep fighting it. They are the ones who historically supported slavery&Jim-Crow, marital-abuse, gay-bashing and holy-crusades. And that's a fact that many will not humbly accept. And until they do the wars go on and on...
