Just Under Half of Thursday

Why did I only get twelve single paragraphs written for the movie Scene Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project? What is the usual reason why I don’t get more writing done than I wanted to get written? That’s right. It’s work. And yesterday is a big part of why I didn’t get too much writing done. It was work.

It was very, very, very busy at work yesterday. One of the busiest for a Friday that I have seen in a long time. If it’s not the busiest one. That’s why busy it was yesterday at work. Luckily, I wasn’t on my feet too much of the time. I was on them more than I should have been. But it could have been a lot worse.

I also had the Incident Report I wrote from last Thursday that hasn’t been corrected yet. That should have helped me with my writing. And it did a whole lot. But mostly it just kept me off my feet. It didn’t really help me with this project. Nothing helped me yesterday. And I don’t know why. Except for it being so busy at work yesterday.

Since today is Saturday, I hope to get fifteen to twenty or more single paragraphs written. But after the last few Saturdays, I’m not counting on that happening until it does. Usually, I can get that many of them written. That hasn’t happened the last few Saturdays. I’m usually lucky if I can get ten of them written.

If I can get fifteen to twenty or more written today, I think that I may be finished with my movie Story Outline. I’m not sure about that without looking at my paperwork. And I don’t have time to do that right now. But I think that I am. If I don’t get it finished today, I should be very close to finishing it.
