Take UP Your Cross Prompt: Proverbs 10:6-7 6 Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. 7 The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot. What do these verses say about the differences between the just and the wicked? Which category do you and the people you know fall in? Answer: I know people from both categories. When the wicked die, people are not sad to see them go, sometimes their own families. I have known very just people who’s funeral’s we're larger than the building could accommodate because of all the good the person had done. Violence is not of God. God is a God of peace.

Observations: Verse 6- since no harm came to Paul after the snake bit him, the people off the island thought he was a god. Verse 7- A chief man of the island lodged them there 3 days out of courtesy. Verse 8- The man’s father became ill. So Paul prayed for him soit was healed. Verse 9- when other people heard of this, others came to be healed. Verse 10- They were able to leave the island with everything that was necessary to finish their journey. Application: One good deed deserves another. Prayer: Dear God, Thank you for providing everything we need. Thank you for your healing power. You are an awesome God.
