Yesterday was Another Great Friday

Despite the cold, rainy, and gloomy weather yesterday I got twenty-one single paragraphs to finish the second episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Of course, I barely got them written. but I did do it. And that’s what counts. I was hoping I would get that many done at work yesterday. That’s how many I got written.

Of course, nine of those were for my Tag Act of this episode. And they aren’t as long as Act One to Four. So, they are usually easier to write. After all, they are tying up loose ends to the current storylines. The Teaser Act is hard because it’s the start of an episode. But the Tag Act normally isn’t.

The weather didn’t help me much when it comes to my writing. But it didn’t really hurt me either. True, it was raining most of the day. It was mostly light rain, though. With it being a tiny bit harder rain a few times. Luckily, I wasn’t out in that rain during those times. I wasn’t out in it very much at all yesterday.

Work on the other hand was very, very busy. a lot busier than it has been for a Friday. That may have slowed me down a little bit. Especially, when I had to go outside my guard post. But it didn’t stop me from writing. Once I started writing, I couldn’t stop. The only thing that did stop me was work. And that wasn’t very often.

Today I’m going to start working on my third episode for this project. I don’t know how many I will get written. But there’s a very good chance I could get at least eighteen of them written. After all, the first Act is the Teaser Act. Then again, I may not get that many written because of the Teaser Act.

Like I have written before, the Teaser Acts can be hard to write. At least they are for me. That’s because they start the new episode. Usually, I know what I want to write. But I’m not sure how to write it. And keep it within three lines. They can be written too. But sometimes it can take a long time and many re-writes to do them.
