A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
It Happened Again I had another split shift yesterday at work. Only this time I didn’t know about it until after I got there. So, that means I did take my writing supplies with me. Of course, for the first four hours, I didn’t have the time to do any writing. But the last four I may have had the chance to do some. I didn’t know how I would feel about it. There was a chance of getting some writing done. Yes, I did take my writing supplies out during the first four hours of my shift yesterday. And I did plan on trying to get some writing done. I knew that it wouldn’t have been more than a few single paragraphs for the third episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. But even a few would have been better than now. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any writing done in those first four hours. It was that busy yesterday. Normally, I don’t feel like writing during the second half of my shift. And that’s the way I felt yesterday at work. But I forced myself to do it. As a result, I got my Teaser Act finished for this project. I just barely got them written, though. As for today, as far as I know, I’m going to be at my normal post all shift today. If that’s true, I’m hoping that I will get at least ten to fifteen single paragraphs written for this episode. Of course, it’s Act One and Act Two so I may get lucky to get ten of them written. It is a Sunday. So, I could get a few more written. Then again, I may not. Sundays have not been too good to me lately. Work is another reason why I may not get as much writing done as I want to get written. It’s usually kind of slow on a Sunday. Not as slow as a Saturday, but not that much better than a Saturday either. If it is just a little bit busier today than yesterday, I may get a lot of writing written today. And if it’s not, I may be lucky if I get ten of them written. It can go either way.
