(to be fair, Thomas felt the same way)
'twas the 4th of July
and an eye for an eye
when they died on the very same day.

Poor President Zachary Taylor
gorged on cherries and grew a lot paler
Said he 'fore he died
with his eyes bulging wide,
"how I wish they'd have been a bit staler"

Grover Cleveland was known to be nice
fighting tariffs, inflation, and vice...
A corruption destroyer;
though he was a lawyer,
he got to be president twice!

Calvin Coolidge had many a pet;
there were two he would never forget:
the gift of twin lions,
South African scions:
the best White House residents yet.
