My Latest Short Story

With only a few days left the finish my latest Short Story, I didn’t think that I would get it done. Especially, since I barely had it started last Monday and Tuesday aka my days off from work. I didn’t think that I would get it done. I’m very happy that I was wrong about that.

I knew that the only way that I would get it done is if I worked on it during my work week when I got home from work. Normally, that is a problem for me because I’m usually very tired when I get home from work. And that is true last week. But I forced myself to write it. Write it, I did. At least I did about three times when I got home. And that’s all I needed to get it done.

Well, that isn’t exactly true. I didn’t get done before today. But I only had three short sections to write. Even though I’m not breaking this up into sections this time. I did do them when I was outlining this Short Story. But when I got it finished earlier today, I took away all of those sections to make it one long Short Story.

True, I haven’t done a Grammarly check it. But once I do that, I will be ready to create it and then post it to this contest. Will I be able to do that after I get done with my blog entry? I would like the answer to that to be yes. Unfortunately, I don’t think that I will be able to do that. Normally, I maybe could. But not this week.

I have to be up very early tomorrow. So, I will most likely be going to sleep not too long after I finish posting this blog entry. Unfortunately, what I must be up early for is going to take me all day to do. Which means I won’t be doing any writing tomorrow. At least not until the day is over. That’s why I will probably be creating and posting this Short Story.
