Work was a Big Part of It

I was wrong again. What was I wrong about this time? It was because of the weather. I thought that it was supposed to be raining all day yesterday. but I was wrong. It’s today that is supposed to be raining most of the day. Especially, when I go to work today. There are a couple of hours when it is going to be cloudy. And the percentage of rain isn’t going to be too high. But overall, it should be raining all day today instead of yesterday.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the reason why I hardly got any writing done yesterday. I would like to blame it on the weather too. But that isn’t how it happened yesterday at work. It also wasn’t work either. At least work wasn’t the main reason. True, it was extremely busy at work yesterday. And I was out of my post a whole lot. But it wasn’t that busy there.

Don’t ask me why I didn’t get more written on The Bible for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Because I don’t know why. I don’t think that it was a lack of concentration or sleep. After all, I didn’t have any problems with either one of them. That’s because I got plenty of sleep last night. And I didn’t have any problems concentrating on my writing.

The only reason that I can think of as for why I didn’t get more writing done is because of all the re-writing. I knew what I wanted to write. But I didn’t know how to write it. As a result, I had to do a lot of re-writing. I also changed my mind about where to place a couple of episodes too. But I haven’t re-written them yet.

Today is Saturday. So, I’m hoping that it’s going to be a normal one. and that it won’t be too busy. If it’s not, then I may get a lot of writing done today. Then again, I might not. after all, it hasn’t been too busy the last few Saturdays. And I didn’t get too much writing done. If I got any done at all. Those days of no writing or very little was because I work a split shift. I hope that doesn’t happen today. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it did.
