Take UP Your Cross Prompt: Proverbs 3:1-2 1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. What are these verses saying to you personally? Answer: The phrase, “but let thine heart keep my commandments”, stands out to me. I believe this is saying that I will have a long life and peace if I keep God's commandments in my heart and do them. Keeping His commandments in my heart is more than just memorizing, reading, and knowing them. It is loving and cherishing them too. It is steering them at a high value. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PROMPT May 18th What is the most ridiculous or one-of-a-kind thing you’ve ever bought? Tell us the story! The most ridiculous one-of-a-kind thing I ever bought was a 3 foot tall goofy-looking stringed puppet from a flea market. My dad had a radio that looked like a hamburger. I had a radio that looked like a desktop computer. Dad and I used to enjoy going into places like Radio Shack together and checking out all the new gadgets. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Observations: Verse 7- You have to go through the door to get to the sheep. Jesus is that door. Verse 8- The sheep only listens to the shepherds voice. Verse 9- If we come to Jesus, He will lead us into the fold and bring us out to find pasture. Verse 10- Theives only come in to kill, steal, or to destroy. Jesus has come so that we can have life. We not only can have life but a more abundant one. Application: Follow Jesus, the good shepherd. Prayer: Dear God, Thank you for saving me. Let me only listen to your voice. Lead me into good pasture and beside still waters. Write about this item in your Blog entry today. I think everyone would desire world peace, but that will only come when Jesus is on the thrown and rules the entire earth. People will try to come up with substitutes because they don't want to live for Jesus. So unfortunately this is why we Christians know the world as we know it will eventually come to an end. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Day 2105: May 18, 2021 Prompt: Overview Effect: ““Anyone living in a space settlement … will always have an overview. They will see things that we know, but that we don’t experience, which is that the Earth is one system. We’re all part of that system, and there is a certain unity and coherence to it all.” — Frank White See What is the Earth Overview Effect that Inspires Astronauts? By Kyle Kowalski Write about the Overview Effect. I would love to hear some astronaut's stories especially of living in space. I am sure there are some interesting ones. I believe in God. I believe He is the glue that holds everything together. I believe He does desire us to live in peace and unity and that it is man’s rebellion that has caused things to be otherwise.
