What is the most ridiculous or one-of-a-kind thing you’ve ever bought? Tell us the story!

I'm wracking my brains here. There must be so many ridiculous, useless things I've bought over my lifetime.
What about a spy pen? It actually worked really well. Thats a story for another time.

Clothes, bought on line that looked nothing like their portrayal, which I couldn't be bothered to send back.
Dog shoes that my dog wouldn't wear.
A kitchen towel holder, that every brand of paper towel made in Australia was several centimetres too narrow. consequently simply dropped out.
Gym memberships?
A three years course in counselling, costing lots. Never used.

This is getting depressing.
