Another Short Story Already

I’m very surprised that the prompt for this month’s WDC contest has come out already. I am glad that it did, though. it has given me the chance to think about it. and to come up with a story about it. True, I would like it to be a Science Fiction, Short Story. But because it’s a quotation about Summer I’m not going to do that.

Yes, I know that I did one about Spring a couple of months ago. But that one was different. It had to be a Science Fiction one because of the contest that I was going to enter with it. This time it’s different because I can write it as a non-Science Fiction Short Story. And that is what I have decided to do with this story.

I found about it early this morning. And I like that because it gives me more time to think about it. Usually, that means remembering a story about that prompt. But it’s not that hard when it comes to non-Science Fiction stories. After all, I can let my imagination go wild coming up with a good story. And I think that I have done it.

It took me most of last night to think about it and early this morning. But I did it. I have even managed to start working on it today. True, I haven’t gotten too much more written than my brief description of it in three short paragraphs. But I have worked on it some. And I’m going to continue working on it after I post this blog entry.

At least that is what I plan on doing. And as far as I know, there is nothing that needs to be done before I go to sleep tonight. I don’t know how much more of it that I will be able to get done today and tomorrow morning. But I’m hoping that I will be able to get at least the single sentence parts written for it.
