Once Again, A Typical
First Day Off From Work

It’s not all bad news when it comes to the two Short Stories that I’m writing for this month. The third one I still haven’t heard about as of this writing. But I haven’t checked out WDC in the last several hours. So, it may have changed. I doubt it, though.

As for what I have gotten written today, it’s not too much again. But I have gotten a little bit written on my WDC Short Story for this month. I haven’t started working on the other yet. And I might not be doing it at all this week. After all, the WDC Short Story is the most important of them both. That’s the one I want to finish the most.

Not because I expect to win this contest. I know that is doubtful that I will ever be able to do that. But that isn’t why I write these short stories, poems, etc. It’s the challenge that drives me to do it. I have a billion stories within me that want to be written. Especially, regarding my Science Fiction ones.

What is the usual reason why I don’t get any writing done on my days off from work? That’s right. It’s because my brother and I had a lot that needs to be done that day. And today was one of those days. My brother and I have been very busy doing most of today. That’s why I haven’t gotten too much written on either one of my short stories today.

Don’t get me wrong. I have worked on my WDC Short Story a little bit today. Just not as much as I think that I should have gotten done. unfortunately, the story itself hasn’t been started yet. All that I have done is set up the sections for this story. Inner sections that I may or not be using. I haven’t decided if I’m going to use them yet.

Will I continue to work on this Short Story after I finish writing and post this blog entry? That is what I plan on doing. And as far as I know, there is nothing more that needs to be done today. But when it comes to me and my writing, I’m not going to count on anything until it happens or it doesn’t happen.
