Concentration

It’s true, I did get more written yesterday at work than I did the day before on Thursday. But it was only by one scene. Instead of four scenes, I got five written. That may not read too well. And that’s because it isn’t. but that’s all that I did.

What is the usual reason why I don’t get more written while at work? That’s right. It’s normally work, the weather, or both. Yesterday, it was a little bit of both. But the main reason why I didn’t get more written was because of me. And my lack of concentration.

Work was very, very busy yesterday. And that did slow me down a little bit. Especially, since I had to go outside my guard post a lot. But it wasn’t too bad. And I did get lucky. After all, I only had to go out there a couple of times during the bad weather.

The weather yesterday was supposed to be very bad during most of my shift. But it wasn’t. In fact, it was probably just the opposite. It was a little bit bad during an hour or two of my shift. But even during that time, it wasn’t as bad as it was supposed to get.

I was the reason why I didn’t get more writing done at work yesterday. that’s because I had a lot of trouble concentrating on doing it. Of course, I wanted to work on it. But I couldn’t concentrate on doing it. And the worse part about it was that I don’t know why.

Last night, I got plenty of sleep. So, I don’t think that is the reason why. That’s the usual reason. But it wasn’t this time. So, what was it? That I don’t know. It may one of those times that I will never know what it was that stopped me from writing more than I did.

The only thing that I can think of as for the reason why was that I finally got my third Short Story prompt early yesterday morning. I don’t think that’s the reason why. After all, it didn’t stop me from getting enough sleep last night. But it might be.

Like I wrote above, I may never know why I didn’t write more than on did on the first part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. All I do know is that I hope that I will do a lot better today. I’m not sure how many I will get written. but I hope it’s a whole lot.
