Unfortunately, two of those scenes that I wrote yesterday at work for the first part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project were Establishing Shots. So, I only really wrote five scenes for this project. That may not read too well. Especially, considering it was done on a Saturday at work. But I think that it is.

Those five scenes equaled three or four written pages on paper. If I could have done it on my laptop, then I wouldn’t think it was all that great either. But because it was handwritten at work that changes the outcome. At least I think that it does.

Of course, I wanted to get one or two more written. and if I had an extra hour, I probably would have been able to do it. In fact, I most likely would have gotten at least one more done in that hour. If not two more of them. Unfortunately, I didn’t have that extra time. The one time I could use some overtime. And I didn’t get it.

Work is the usual reason why I don’t get as much writing as I want to get done written. But that isn’t what happened yesterday at work. Unfortunately, it was a very normal Saturday. It wasn’t very busy at all. In fact, it was one of the slowest days that I have seen in a long time.

Another reason why I don’t get too much writing done is because of the weather. But that didn’t slow me down that much. If it slowed me down at all. True, it was very hot yesterday. And I did have to go out in that heat several times. But even with a long-sleeved shirt, it wasn’t that bad going out there.

The lack of sleep or concentration is two other reasons why I don’t get too much writing written. I don’t think that either one of them is the reason why neither. That’s because I got plenty of sleep last night. And I didn’t have any trouble concentrating yesterday.

I hope that I can do as well today as I did yesterday. Of course, I hope I will get those two to four extra scenes written. But if I only get five or six done, I will think that it’s a good day for my writing. However many that I do end up getting written, I’m going to get as many of them as I can get done today at work.
