My Summer is Finally Over

That is right. I didn’t think that I would get my WDC Short Story written today. And for a while, I didn’t think that I would. But I did. True, I had several setbacks. They weren’t too bad, though. And they didn’t stop me from finishing it.

What is the usual reason that I get slowed down when it comes to my writing? Except for the time to do it. That’s right. It’s the Word Count limitations. And that was part of my problem with this Short Story too. But it wasn’t as bad as it normally is.

I think that I know why it wasn’t as bad. It’s because of the sub-sections within a section. Those subs helped me to write better. At least I think that they did. Maybe I will start using them more often in my stories. If I don’t start using them right away.

It’s true. I didn’t use them when I finished writing this story. And some of them did change slightly. But that isn’t what I intended to do with them. I thought about keeping them with the story. That would have been more confusing, though. At least I think that it would be.

True, I haven’t done my Grammarly check on this WDC Short Story yet. So, I may still need to do some Word Count limitations once I do that. Usually, I don’t need to do too many of them. But I am very close to my limit now. So, if there are a lot of them, I may need to do some more editing.

Once I get the Grammarly check done, then I will be ready to create it on WDC. I think that I will do that tonight before I go to sleep. But I may not. If I don’t do it tonight for whatever reason, then I will do it tomorrow night after I get off work.

I still have two more short stories to do this month. So, I may continue to work on them instead of creating my WDC Short Story. Still haven’t decided on what I am going to do. I know that I should continue to work on the other two. Especially, the one that I just got a few days ago.

Since I still have a couple more weeks to finish these stories, I probably won’t continue to work on them today or before I go to sleep tonight. The main reason I won’t isn’t because of the two weeks left until the end of this month. It’s because I don’t know which one I want to continue next.
