Welcome to my blog: I intend to share heartfelt writing about anything that comes to mind. |
Take UP Your Cross I ran across an article on the internet that has a list of questions to ask ourselves about our relationship with God. I would like to go through these questions in our blogs. This will help us examine ourselves and make sure our relationship is on target with God. Prompt: Question 1 Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Do I have any unconfessed sin? You don't need to give details on this unless you want to. The Bible does tell us to confess our sins to one another so we can pray for one another. Do you have prayers you don't feel are being answered? Could this be a reason why? Does this verse say anything to you personally? Answer: As far as I know, I don't have any unconfessed sin. May God reveal it to me if I do. I am struggling with a bit of a grumpy mood today as I write this. However, I am ok at the moment. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Prompt: “It is always easier to learn something than to use what you have learned.” Chaim Potok, The Promise What are your thoughts on the quote? Can you come up with a few examples to illustrate this author’s point? I disagree with this quote. What is the point of learning anything if you are not going to use and apply that knowledge to your life. Those who are always learning and never using the knowledge they learn, lack wisdom and common sense. That is my opinion. Having said that, I have no desire to illustrate the author’s point. It would be like a college student graduating college and going right back into school to learn something else when they never even tried to work in the field of study they trained for. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Prompt: I was cruising the galaxy with Luke Skywalker and found this planet: Jesse (2) Read this item:
Write about this in your Blog entry today. The Bible says everything will be tried by fire. Fire removes any impurities. I imagine that is what hard times and difficulties do to us. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Day 3132: June 14, 2021 Prompt: "When a soothing wind blows gently love through the thistledown of expectations, hope may inveigle the future for timeless care and tenderness to be anchored in a bay of good luck. ("Happiness blowing in the wind" )” ― Erik Pevernagie Use this quote to inspire your blog entry. Happiness is a choice. It would be nice if you could walk outside and let the wind hit you and suddenly be happy. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.
