A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Should have been More for a Saturday Unfortunately, I only wrote six scenes yesterday at work on the first part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. But it should have been at least one or two more. Especially, since it was a Saturday. I think that I know why I didn’t get more written, though. It was because of me. What are the usual reasons why I don’t get as much writing as I thought that I should get written? The usual reasons are a lack of sleep or concentration. But I don’t think it was either one of them. I got plenty of sleep last night. And I didn’t have any trouble concentration either. So, why do I think that it’s me? It’s because I messed up on the first scene that I wrote yesterday. I treated it like a five or ten instead of a six that it was. As a result, I had to cut out four lines aka seconds. And that wasn’t easy to do. I did it. But it took a lot of time to do it. Time, I could have used for one or two more scenes. Most of the time it's work or the weather that is the reason why I don’t get more writing written. But that wasn’t it at work yesterday. It was a very normal Saturday when it came to work. Not too busy at all. True, the weather was very, very hot yesterday. But like most Saturdays, I wasn’t out in the hot weather too much. Today, I’m hoping that I can do a lot better than yesterday. I was hoping that I could get seven or eight written over this weekend. If I could have done that, I would have ended Act One of this movie. I can still do it. But it’s going to be a lot harder to do now. After all, instead of seven or eight, it’s going to need to be nine. And I’m not sure if I can do that in one day. Even if that day is a Sunday.
